new contact problem

when I enter a new contact into a category, even tho I
have selected "file as" as my first criteria, it adds the
new contact at the end of the list instead of
alphabetizing it. Any help?

OK Lynne, Now I AM CONFUSED. Where are you ADDING your

contact IN a category? Try making sure you HAVE an entry
in the "File as" field, and it is (Using the Drop down Box)
alphaetized as you expect to see it.
