New Database

i am trying to create a database that will allow me to
assess someones circumstances on a day to day basis i.e.
giving them x amunts of pounds or dollars depending on
their circumstances. I want to be able to create a
running total of what is paid to that person and when for
instance the customer has not supplied the correct
information be able to go back and reasses the assessment
to be any arrears or recover any monies paid. i have
created a database to hold the customers info but am
unsure of what the table to hold the info regarding the
assessments before and after should look like!! i would
also like to be able to scroll through the customers
assessments after each change from the begining of their
assesment!! please please help i am pulling my hair out
here!!

i meant to add that when scolling through the assessments
i meant by date! so when a customer starts on 01/12/03
and there circumstances change twice between then and now
i need to see those changes on those dates. also to be
able to go back and change those changes to what they
were therefore effectively remove them. Also so that if
there was a change between changes that the most recent
change would overide the later change and asses the
customer again, unless the change later afected the
monies involved! sorry if you dont get this!
