I had created and saved some avery labels. When I next opened a new
document, the cursor was at the correct left margin but at the very top of
the page with zero margin.
I found the Normal.dot file but there were two other files named
"Normal.dot." One had a tilde ~ in front of the name the other had an
upturned arrow in a circle on the lower right. "Normal.dot" was a 32kb file.
The other two were 1kb each. I clicked on the file wiht the upturned arrow
and it had a cursor location similar to the erroneous document. So I tried
saving it with a diferent name. It saved with its original name so I deleted
it and the file with the tilde in front.
The Normal.dot file had the margins correct so I opened a new doc and it
still showed the wrong margins. This is still happening. When I open
Normal.dot it looks fine. When I open a new doc I get bad margins.
