New document dialog box

Hi, can anyone help, I'd like to remove some template
links from the new document dialog box. Does anyone know
if it's possible. I have added ours, but to make things
simpler would like to remove the standard microsoft ones.

This would be http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=240216. As the article
doubtless will tell you, in Word 2000 and above, you have to actually
uninstall them. If you want to save any of them, you can copy them to your
user templates folder before uninstalling.
