New document opens with text

I am experiencing the same problem I copied and pastd
some info from a web site two nights ago and now I am
unable to open a new blank word document. I ran virus
checker, deleted any files with the name I gave the copied
information. I even uninstalled and reinstalled office.
all to no avail. Did you ever get help to resolve the
problem?
