New Document Placement

Word has always opened a new document below a Standard and Formatting tool
bar for me. An "unexpected quite" recently changed this. After that quite,
the toolbars were no longer present on open. That has been corrected. But
the new document that opens does so under those tool bars instead of below
them. That is to say the top portion is hidden from view by the toolbars.
I could find no help for this with the Office Assistant.

How can I get a new document (when starting Word or when clicking the new
document button on the tool bar) to be positioned and sized as I want.

Hi Marc,

Do a Google Advanced Groups search of this newsgroup for the thread called
"Toolbars opening behind document in Word 2001 - OS 9.2". (It's the same if
you're in Word X.)
