Anytime a domain user receives a new e-mail notification, Outlook 2007 will
pause for a brief 3 second period prior to the notification. You can tell
you're about to receive an e-mail with Outlook 2007 open because your
keyboard will lock for this 3 second period, then the new e-mail notification
will be displayed, followed by normal activity again.
If you turn the new e-mail notification off, the same behavior occurs. FYI,
our backend is Exchange 2007 SP1 with latest patches.
