I have a client with an annoying and puzzling problem. When he goes to
create an email message, he will start to type and his email signature jumps
up to right below where he is typing. He has to hit enter a couple of times
to put the correct space back in place. I have watched him when this happens
and he is not hitting the delete key to delete the blank lines. He only has
to hit a single key. He is not suffering from fat fingers as I originally
thought. He can send hundreds of emails a day with his business and to have
to redo the spacing each time is really annoying.
Here are the specs:
Outlook 2003 SP1,
Small Business Server 2003 Domain network running Exchange SP2,
Approxiamately 20 clients and he is the only one experiencing this problem.
Email's are sent in HTML format.
Signatures have different formatting on different lines and a company logo.
Signatures were created from a template that was first set up on a
different workstation that we could get to work correctly. This template was
used on every client workstation and account. We did it this way because
when we went into advanced edit and MS Word would open, something would
happen placing an ActiveX control in the signature that would not go away.
I'm not sure what other information to provide. Any help in this matter is
greatly appreciated.
