New Emails

Hi Everyone,

I am using Outlook 2000.

Sometimes I have new emails and they are marked as read without me actually
reading the emails.

This does not happen all the time.

Can anyone explain this to me and how can I stop it from happening.

Do you have previews turned on? If so, turn them off and see if that makes a
difference. If not, turn off the automatic "mark as read" feature.
Tools > Options > Other > Preview Pane > Uncheck "mark messages as read in
preview window"
