New Entourage User. Help!

I just got Entourage 2008 and set up my sbcglobal account in it. Whenever I get messages in my inbox on the yahoo server, the messages get copied to my computer and disappear from my inbox on the yahoo web site. This only happens with messages going to my inbox. My folders aren't affected. All the old messages stored in my inbox were also siphoned off. How can I get the messages back to my inbox on the yahoo server and get Entourage to stop eating them?

This sounds like the default behavior of a POP account.

Go into Tools --> Accounts... and double-click your account. Under the
Options tab select the option to "Leave a copy of each message on the
server".

Ok got that. Now all I need is to retrieve mail that's filtered to different folders.

I don't think you can do that, at least with Entourage. Entourage will pick
up messages in your inbox, not in any folders.
