New Fields Won't Appear On List

I just recently added a new field to a form, and there was no problem. The field appeared on the list, and everything worked as it should. However, when I attempted to do the same to the two sub-forms affiliated with it, the new fields did not appear on the list. I have tried exiting out of Access, but that didn't do anything.
