New Fonts disappear after rebot

In Word 2003 adding new fonts seems to work until you reboot. They
install fine and can be used fine but when you restart they are gone
and need to be reinstalled. After a bit of research I know their arn't
to many fonts as we are only trying to install about 20 extra from the
orignal lot, They are copied into the fonts folder and the files appear
as they should. Any help would be much appreciated. The user with this
problem has full administrator rights to this folder.
