New Freeze-Up Problem

Running ON B2TR on XP Pro.
Program opens fine, works properly for up to 5 minutes, then freezes. Have
to close using alt/f4 or control panel.

Did not have problem in Beta.

Also -just bought new laptop with 2.0 GHz duo core, 2 GB ram, 120 gb.
Installation went fine - office suite plus onenote. OneNote crashes within
less than 30 seconds after opening. Repeatedly. Have tried repair, turning
off pop-up blocker and anti-virus, closing all other programs -- none of this
makes a difference. It crashes each and every time.

WTF!?

You may be seeing a crash due to problems in the content created by earlier
beta version. Here is what you can try:

Make sure to install OneNote 2007 b2TR, if you have not already.

Delete the OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache file and the
OneNoteOfflineCache_files folder from this directory (Note that any
non-synchronized changes will be lost):

C:\Documents and Settings\olyav\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\OneNote\12.0

Restart OneNote.

Tried you solution. WOrked only to the extent it took longer for OneNote to
crash. Examined the backup onenote files - found double entries for each,
under each section, the twin files had different dates (ie. there were set of
files dated Sept. 30 and identical set dated Oct. 2). I tried deleting the
Sept. 30 files. Program still crashed within minutes.

Tried something else entirely -- closed all of the workbooks I have been
using and opened only the sample workbooks that load with OneNote. OneNote
doesn't crash. Seems to indicate some kind of problem with my workbooks.

Is there a utility to check the workbooks?
SHould I try eliminating certain categories of onenote items, like embedded
documents or links?

Any other suggesetions?

Again - OneNote has become a critical part of my work, and this disruption
has been costly and exasperating. Your help is acknowledged and appreciated.
