New hard drive - Office XP gone flakey

I have just upgraded my hard drive and used the Western Digital Lifeguard
software to copy everything from the old drive. Most applications are fine,
but when I run Word it tries to install something from the CD. It then tells
me an error has occured and I need to run setup and "repair". However, setup
won't run from the CD and gives me a message that "this patch package could
not be opened".
Does anyone have any suggestions?
