When I initially configured Outlook 2003, my default Inbox was a POP3
account. I have added an IMAP account and now use that as my default account.
I have some 3rd party applications like Spam filters that use the old POP3
Inbox. I can't get any of these apps to recognize the new IMAP as the default
or primary account. So they are all communicating with the old POP3 which is
no longer set to Send and Receive mail and the 3rd party apps are providing
no functions for the new IMAP that has all my current email (and spam!).
I have set the new IMAP as defualt in "Tools... Accounts". I have also
removed the POP3 account from there.
How do I set the new IMAP account to be the one that 3rd party apps - like
Spam filters, Palm sync, the Outlook 'new mail notification windo', etc. -
use as the primary/default folder for new mail?
