New install cell format failure with Panther

We've just installed Office on two brand new aluminum 512 meg 1. gig
15 inch G4s running 10.3.2. When we try to reformat cells for Text
Wrap, or even Bold or other cell format change, we get an error
message that Excel is expecting us to enter an integer and that it
can't accept the value. This even though we're not adding or changing
numbers at the point, merely trying to reformat a cell that has a
number in it. This seems to happen whether or not the cell has data.
Exactly the same symptoms on the two machines. This is the first
installation for each machine from a previously successfully used
licensed program disk

Hi

Head to this URL and install the updates that are appropriate for your
Office installations:
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx#OfficeX>

After you install the updates use Disk Utility First Aid to repair
permissions.

Did this fix the problem?

Jim -- Your solution worked perfectly. We're installing a ton of
10.3.2 in the next few weeks and this will save us a lot of time.
Thank you. -- Bob
