This is a new machine with XP PRO OS. Putting on Office 2000. We're on
Exchange server02. Having problems installing the outllok from Office2000
because it wants to act like Outlook Express and not connect with exchange
server.

Sorry, but while this sentence contains English words, the grammar is such I
don't understand the question.

Ah! You're installing Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode. You need to
install it in Corporate/Workgroup mode in order to connect to an Exchange
server.

Thanx!! Where do I select this mode? I've installed Outlook and other office
packages from my Office 2000 cd. When I select the "OUTLOOK" icon, it jumps
into the install immediately.

Thanx - d

It should be an option in the install, perhaps in the Custom install.
However, after the fact, you can change it on (I think) Tools>Options>Mail
Sevices>Reconfigure Mail Support. It's been a long time, so the tab may not
be exactly as named, but the "Reconfigure" button will be.
