New Installation of Outlook 2003

I guy here at work is getting a new computer. After installing Outlook 2003
and setting it up to connect to our Exchange Server, none of his folders
gets updated. Usually after installing Outlook, the inbox, sent items,
deleted item folders all get updated, but this isn't working. Any ideas of
what could be wrong?
