New Keyboard

I'm using Word 97 and just got a new keyboard. For some reason, it
doesn't seem to have kept the keyboard shortcuts that it had
previously. I do know how to customize the keyboard, but for some
reason it doesn't seem to even recognize the "shift" key. For example,
I'm trying to use the control+shift+right arrow to select to the end
of a word and control+shift+down arrow to select to the end of a
paragraph. But when I go to do this, it's like it doesn't even
recognize the shift key, just the control and arrow keys. Does anybody
know what might be wrong or have any suggestions? Thanks.

I got a MS wireless keyboard and had the same problem. All I needed to do
was hit the F Lock key in the upper, right-hand corner of the keyboard.
