I am trying to set up a Template for a 'New Letter to Contact' - By
highlighting an individual contact, I would then select 'Actions', 'New
Letter to Contact', and the contact info would be auto filled, and i can then
fill in the remainder of the form fields
Problem 1 - I intend on using { FORMCHECKBOX } { FORMDROPDOWN } { FORMTEXT }
on the letter as a form. But so far my tests have this being ignored or
stripped off when calling the letter template through 'Actions', 'New Letter
to Contact', and then selecting the template through the dialog box.
Is this workable through BCM 2003 Vers 2?
Problem 2 - Obviously, using a form, layout is critical. BCM is happy to
insert the customer Name, Address, etc., but I want more control of
individual fields. I want to choose the placement of the email address,
phone, fax, as well as name, etc. which are contained in the contact info.
How is this done?
