I've developed Word (2003 Pro) macros to facilitate our department's monthly
reporting. I thought these macros were stored with the .doc.
I now have a new machine with a "built" Office (2003 Pro). I selected the
"medium" (prompt me on macro) security level.
When I open an old file that I know had the macro in it, I cannot see the
macro from my new machine's Word program's VBA window.
I have my old drive as E:, and it still contains all the program files, etc,
on it. I tried to locate a "normal.dot" or any other file that might contain
the macros I recorded, unsuccessfully. Does anyone know (1) where the macro
code might be located in the old drive's files, (2) is it possible to "copy"
them from their location to the C: drive and have it work properly?
I also remember saving these macros to somewhere where I can use them in
other docs. Does anyone know where this might be?
