New Mail Alert

In previous versions the alert would remain on screen until you clicked "Yes"
or "No" .Is there any way of having the new message alert remain visible for
an extended period in Outlook 2003?
If a user is away from their desk for an extended period of time, there
doesn’t seem to be a quick way to see if there are any new messages -
assuming that there are already unread messages in the Inbox.

There is the envelope in the Notification Area.

Also you can create a rule that shows the New Item Alert window.

If you want the New Mail Alert to show longer see than 30 seconds;

Thanks a bunch! The information in the link was exactly what I was looking
for but probably wouldn't have found on my own.
