I’ve just bought MS Office Outlook 2003. In previous versions of Outlook it
was possible to adjust the e-mail settings so that Outlook would display a
“New Mail Desktop Alert†when I received a new e-mail. In Outlook 2003 I have
ticked the “Display a New Mail Desktop Alert†box, but my problem is that the
alert only stays on for a maximum of 30 seconds. On previous versions of
Outlook the alert would stay on the screen until I clicked “Yes†or “No†when
asked if I wanted to read the new e-mail, but I haven’t found a way to do the
same in Outlook 2003. Does anyone know how to change the settings so that the
alert stays on the screen until I click “Yes†or “No†when asked if I want to
read the new e-mail? If you know how to solve this problem, would you please
reply to (e-mail address removed)
Thanks. Jim
