new mail is grayed out

My outlook 2007 is receiveing emails but when I go to create a new, the box
is gray.
also reply, reply to all, and forward is gray. I went into account settings
a did repair and it sent me a test email. It worked before. I do not know
what happened to it.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Can you still create a new Word and Excel documents? If not it sounds like
you haven't activated your version of Office yet.
