i am having the same problem reported by lots of users in this forum with new
mail notification in Outlook 2007. I am running on Windows Vista with POP3
account. Not using Exchange. The new mail notification blue box that should
appear on the screen no longer appears. Also the Inbox window does not
refresh; I have to resort to clicking on another folder (eg. Contacts) and
then back to Inbox to see my mail. This is proving to be a real nuisance. I
have followed all the threads I can find on this subject and nothing has
cured the problem. Has anybody found a definitive answer yet ?
One other thing that is puzzling me is that the F5 (Refresh) option in the
view menu is greyed out. Any thought on why this should be ?
