In Outlook 2007, I have created 2 mail accounts; the first one (a POP mail
account: (e-mail address removed)) has the default name “Personal foldersâ€, the
second one (an Internet mail account: (e-mail address removed)) has the name of the
e-mail address. They both have the same sub-folders; I send and receive mail
normally from both accounts.
However, when I receive a new mail, I receive a "new mail" notification from
my first account, like an envelope icon in my tray and a sound to tell me
that I have new mail. But, I don’t have a notification when I receive a new
mail in my second account.
Is there a reason why Outlook processes a "new mail" notification
differently between a POP account and an Internet account? Thanks.
