I have Windows Vista and Office 2007. Sometimes the new message icon is
displayed in the system tray (like yesterday) and sometimes not (like today).
The box is checked in "show envelope icon notification area," in
start/properties/customize/you have new unopened mail," the defualt is
"show," and when I click the < in the system tray there is no icon either -
yet I have new unread mail. Several of us have upgraged to Office 2007 and
are having the same problem. Thanks so much.
