New MS ActiveX Patch Issues

R

Ryan Miller

Good Morning

A few users have expressed concerns that dialogue box items such as
calendards in PWA are no longer working (to do list, etc). This activity
started acting odd after the MS patch that was released 2 weeks ago that
prompts for activeX code to be activated.

Has anyone else seen this or seen a fix?

Thanks,

Ryan

This whole issue is BS. Microsoft should just purchase a license. It's
caused us a ton of support problems and that compatibility patch only delays
the inevitable.

They say they provided the information to developers since January but
haven't fixed their own products. Outlook Web Access is screwed up as well.

The issue is archaic patent laws. I agree with you that the entire mess is a
lot of B.S., but I'm not certain that your conclusion on what MS should do
is correct, although it would certainly save us all a lot of aggravation.<g>
