New Notebook - problems creating

Can anyone help me to create a new OneNote 2007 Notebook?

My Notebook is stored on a USB Memory stick

Everytime I try I get an error message like this.....

OneNote can not create a new notebook at:
M:\oneNote 2007\XirtamPersonal
The speciFied location Is a section group inside a notebook that Is already
open.

I've never encountered that error personally but it sounds as if you've got
a notebook open (possibly M:\OneNote 2007) and you are trying to create a
new notebook inside of a folder that is already open.

Each notebook needs to be in its own top-level folder. You might try closing
all notebooks and then making sure your directory structure on your memory
stick looks like:

M:\OneNote 2007 (don't open this as a notebook)
M:\OneNote 2007\Notebook 1 (open this as a notebook)
M:\OneNote 2007\Notebook 2 (open this as a notebook)
etc.

It sounds like you're trying to do something like:

M:\OneNote 2007\ (opened as a notebook)
ML\OneNote 2007\XirtamPersonal (can't create this notebook because of above)
