New notebook structure in 2007

Can someone give me an explanation of the new structure please, as I for one
am confused? What does the icon with 3 little tabs mean for instance?

Subpages, Pages and Sections are still the same as in ON 2003.
Folders are now called Section Groups and I think the icon you meant is
the one for those.
You can now have separate notebooks that in turn can contain sections
and section groups.

The big change is that instead of being limited to one notebook, you can
now have multiple ones.

Folders (from ON2003) have been renamed "Section Groups". Same exact
function but with a new icon.

That is a section group just like everyone mentioned.
