FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New Offering Provides Migration Path from Microsoft FrontPage to Microsoft
Visual Studio .NET.
DULUTH, GA - May 17, 2004 - Targeted at .NET web developers, PagePorterT
adds new web development features to Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET. With
"zero-code" components, GUI site navigation editor and site management
add-in, PagePorter merges the development ease of Microsoft FrontPage® and
the power of Visual Studio .NET.

The "PagePorter Web Site" project wizard creates a special type of web
application project that enables all of PagePorter's features. PagePorter
extends the web forms base class with new features such as shared borders
and security. PagePorter adds seven new web forms controls that work like
FrontPage controls. There's also a Navigation View tool window for editing
the site's navigation structure. PagePorter can even convert your FrontPage
web pages into web forms, ready to exploit the power of ASP.NET. You can mix
old FrontPage HTML files with the ASP.NET web forms in the same project, and
even manage the project with both Visual Studio .NET and FrontPage. Or you
can convert the entire site over to Visual Studio .NET.

PagePorter works with Visual Studio .NET 2002 or 2003, and supports the
Visual Basic .NET, C#, or Visual J#, languages. Hosted web projects require
a web server running the .NET framework 1.0 or 1.1, and Microsoft FrontPage
Server Extensions.

PagePorter is currently in beta testing, and will be available for purchase
in July. Persons interested in beta testing should visit
http://www.parastream.com/beta for more information. Exact features and
pricing have yet to be determined.
