New Office Doc/Templates

Office2K premium, updated
All of a sudden the New Office Doc/Templates have ceased to function, have
run repair option.
eg Blank Doc and Blank Workbook plus my saved word doc templates do not
function, others eg Publisher are OK
Any hope? Ta
