New Office2008 on the way.

I just received notice that my purchase of Office2008 has just been
shipped. I opted for the free shipping so it will get here by slow boat
from ...., any day now.

Wish me luck.

By the way If I were to install on a FireWire drive using OSX.4.11 on my
main computer would it locate my office2004 install on the internal Hard
Drive? I've had one application that looked on every hard drive running
for a past version and found it. Just wondering if Office is that smart?

Haven't installed a retail copy as yet, but based on past experience the new
installation will find any prior version on any mounted volume. You have the
option to remove or not. More on the subject here should answer any of your

Installed on both my PB17" and on the FireWire Drive attached to my
Desktop G4-500. I noticed on the FireWire Drive I have the ability to
save as Doc or Docx files.
