New organisation-chart-style stencil

I want to create a new stencil containing shapes that behave like
organisation chart nodes (i.e. you can drag one onto another to automatically
connect them in a tree), but with different formatting for the node (text
size & style, border, height, etc) and connector (line style, weight, etc).

I seem to have got part-way there in that I can create a customised shape
with the correct colour and text formatting, but when I drag my shape onto a
diagram it reverts the height to the original organisation chart shape
height, which is very annoying. I've tried setting the height as 'protected'
but it hasn't helped.

Also, I do not know how I can set the style of the connector that comes with
the node.

Please help!

Organization Chart shapes (or those that you derive from them) get resized
automatically when adding them to the page. You can change the default size
in the Organization Chart > Options menu.

Thanks for that Mark.

Do you also know how I can set the default connector line-style and the
default alignment (e.g. Align left for all sub-nodes), for my derived
node-shape?

You can go to Format > Define Styles, choose the Connector style and then
click on the Line button to modify the line formatting.

You can make similar changes to the style that your node shape uses. If you
derived these from Organization Chart shapes, this would be the Org Normal
style.

Concerning the shapes:

When I change the sizes in the Organization Chart -> Options menu it applies
them to all the shapes. But I want the executives, managers and "normal"
employees to have a different size :(
Is there any possibilty to do so?

Thanks a lot
