new page does not appear

I have Office 2003 on Windows XP, both of which are up to date on updates.
In Word, once I have typed to the end of one page and continue to type, the
next page doesn't show up. It's like I'm typing into empty space. The only
thing I can do is manually do a page break. Then, I can see all that I'd
been typing that should have been automatically put on a new page. I have
tried the repair CD install. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Try switching between Print Preview and Page Layout View. Does that force
the next page (and text) to appear correctly?

Thanks for your reply. I switched between the two, and the page does not
show up on either. I also discovered that I cannot change my page margins in
Page Setup. With any change I attempt to make, I receive the error message
"Increasing right margin causes last column to become too narrow in some
sections having unevenly spaced columns."

Thanks for your reply. I followed your advise, and neither shows the correct
page/text. I also realized that I can't change the margins in Page Setup.
With any change I attempt to make, I get the error message "Increasing right
margin causes last column to become too narrow in some sections having
unevenly spaced columns." However, with some of my old documents (typed in
Word XP/2002), everything works fine. The problems appear to be with new
documents.
