new Palm-Entourage sync problem

I have used the Entourage conduit for syncing with my Palm since the
conduit was first released. No problems to date. Then suddenly today when
I sync the calendar in my handheld is wiped clean. Entourage still has all its
data. And all other functions--contacts, tasks, notes--sync correctly. I'm
not aware of any changes to either my Mac or my Palm. What could this be?
PowerBook G4, OS 10.3.3, Entourage 10.1.4
Palm m500, Palm OS 4.0, sync via cradle.

This probably won't be the culprit, but there is a newer version of the Palm
Desktop and associated Hotsync software. Version 4.2.1. You didn't specify
which version of the Palm Desktop you were using, only the Palm OS. Always
best to have the latest upgrades. Otherwise when you go to them for support,
that will be the first thing they tell you to do. Saves a little bit of
time.

! Whatever else you may try, right now you should do an one-time Entourage
Overwrites Handheld sync for Calendar - settings in HotSync
Manager/HotSync./Entourage Conduit. Otherwise, if you do a regular 2-way
Synchronize, all your events will be wiped from Entourage too.
