new password not accepted..

I changed my gmail password and now my outlook 2003 will not accept it.
evertime i do a "send/recieve" it prompts me for a "password" for the account
and on entering the new password it yet does not accept it.

why is this and how is it resolved.

thank you for replying. i had gone thru this article before you posted and
tried what was explained but it did not work

0x800ccc92 is the error i keep getting. is there any other solution to it.

My research shows that the error code you're getting means either your
username or password is being rejected. Did you use your full gmail e-mail
address when you set up the e-mail account in Outlook, or did you just type
in your username (the part of the address before the @ sign)?
