New PC Office 7 expired & uninstalled but all updates remain on f

OFFICE 2007 TRAIL just expired on my new PC, thus the trail was UNINSTALLED,
using the UNINSTALL option in CONTROL PANEL. I use Office 2003 Professional
infrequently. I abhor old, out of date or unnecessary files on my machine so
I was surprised to fiind all of the Office 07 updates taking up room on my
pc.

Can I delete all Office 2007 updates amd ensure my Office 03 will run
properly? I am on a Win 7 platform.

Thanks for any input!! I realy appreciate any feedback in regards to this
issue. I wish the uninstall feature would remove bit of software, esp with
all of Trials and Beta products available.
