new POP email account not in Folder List despite sucessful set-up

Got a minute (or two)... your Guidance / Solution would be much appreciated

Can't figure out why additional new POP accounts don't appear in my Folder
List after sucessful set up / testing of the same.

Strangely, this problem does not occur when a new HTTP account is added.

They don't. That's how Outlook works. An HTTP account mirrors the folders
on the HTTP server - that's why they appear separately. The messages you get
in the HTTP mail folders are NOT saved in your local pst file.

"POP accounts" never appear in the Folder list. Only folders appear there
and all POP accounts will deliver their incoming mail into the same Inbox.
HTTP accounts, however, all have their own folder sets because the folders
are strictly caches and only reflect the contents of the server, since
messages remain on the server for HTTP accounts.
