new project and new users - nt

Okay I am really confused about something.....I want to be using NT users
for the resources....so I went to Project

Tools->Enterprise Options->Open Enterprise Resource Pool, then I picked

Tools->"Add resources from company directory, then I added the users there.
Now all the users are part of the "Open Enterprise Resource Pool". So now
within PWA, I go to Resources and under....View enterprise resources in
Resource Center I now see all the users I added within project.

I go to "Admin" and "Manage users and groups" along the left side, is that
list suppose to show up there?

But when I create a project and stuff, no e-mail is being sent....I checked
the settings its suppose to triger an e-mail. But nothing is being sent. How
do I confirm the e-mail is working properly?

Its like I need more information on how to implement new users on a brand
new install, but want to use the NT users, what's the correct way for this.
I thought it was what I did above?

PLEASE HELP ASAP.

Carlos --

When you create a new project, and create your task list, you will then need
to create your project team. To do so, click Tools - Build Team from
Enterprise. In this dialog box, select each of your team members on the
left and copy them over to the right side of the dialog box, and then click
Close. You will then need to assign one or more resources to each task,
according to your needs. After saving the Project in the Project Server
database (File - Save), you will also need to publish the project by
clicking Collaborate - Publish - All Information. Have you done each of
these steps? Only after doing so will you be able to determine if the
e-mail settings are working.

Also, in your Enterprise Resource Pool, did you make sure that each resource
has a valid E-Mail Address listed for them? To do so, open the Enterprise
Resource Pool and temporarily add the Email Address column. Then look for
anyone whose Email Address entry is blank. Hope this helps.

I have done exactly all that.....
Each resource does have the e-mail on them.
Not sure what else to do.
