New Project Install with Existing WSS virtual Server. Create new?

I have an existing WSS virtual server running with lots of sites. If I run
the Sharepoint config wizard to use this existing site, will it cause
problems with the already running sites. Should I create a new virtual server
just for Project Server. What are the Pros & Cons of the this?
