New Project Server setup questions

I'm about to set up a Project Server on a clean box. I have a 1.8 Ghz
CPU and 1 GB of RAM and 40 GB of disk. As this is to be a
learning/development server I am going to have everything be on this
machine. I know this requires W2K3 with IIS, SQL Server, Sharepoint
Server & Project Server. I'll read all relevent documentation before
I start (well, I'll do it while W2K3 is installing) but I'd like to
know if there are any "gotcha's" I should know about in this process.

I know exactly zero about Project Server so this is going to be a
substantial learning exercise. I am MCSE/MCDBA so two pieces will be
straightforward. The rest will be interesting. Any suggestions or
warnings are appreciated.

TIA

Installing Project Server 2003 is the easy part. Learning to set it up and
use it well is more difficult. Getting everyone in your organization to use
it correctly is an even bigger hurdle. To assist you with this, refer to
the following FAQ for information about documentation, books, and training
on Project Server 2003:

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I am not part of an organization. I built a SQL Server based
scheduling application for a home builder back in 2001 and someone I
know who is a Project Server consultant suggested I look at Project
Server as a possibility for a rewrite of the original app. I expect
to do a lot of learning but this first step is just to see if it will
serve my purpose. I am going to get the whole system set up and then
image the hard drive so I can just start over from scratch when I mess
stuff up.
