"New Project" Status

[PS 2007] Hi guys.

Can anyone tell me why do I get Projects in "New Project" Status? Has it
something to do with the queue? It's a big problem because I can't open the
file with Project Professional (since it's not completely saved on the
server) and I can't force check-in because it doesn't appear on the list.
It's like it doesn't exist because the only way I can see it is through the
"Delete Enterprise Objects" option. Also, I have a "Failed and Blocking
Correlation" process in the queue for the saving process of the project and I
don't know what to do to recover it.

Thanks for your help.

Where are these projects being generated from? It this happening all the
time or is this is one off situation? Generally speaking, this should not
happen. Try deleting the project from "Delete Enterprise Objects" and
creating the the project again. Does it fail?

Hi Jonathan.

This has happened twice. This time I was able to delete the project but the
only copy of it, was the one on the user´s cache. That's why I ask myself:
what would have happened if he had cleaned up the cache? how do I recover the
project? what's exactly a "New Project"?

Thanks for four help.

A "New Project" is a partially saved new project that did not finish saving
successfully. As far as I know, there is no way to recover it.
