New Projects: Project 2007 > Verifying Accounts and Enterprise Opt

Hi All

I finally managed to install all the various components of MS Project Server
and its working, so its time to play about. Its a standalone installation
for eval purposes only.

I tried to setup a new project in the PWA. I get the following message:

To perform this action, you need Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007.
If you are using this version, verify that a correct account for the
computer running Project Server has been setup and selected. To verify the
account, on the tools menu, click Enterprise Options and then click Project
Web Access Accounts.

Is this something I need to setup in Microsoft Office Project 2007? If so,
I'm using the trial version and the Enterprise Options isn't available from
the tools menu. Is this option disabled as part of the trial version?

Thanks in advance to all who respond.

I'm guessing that you've installed Project 2007 Standard Edition instead of
the Professional Edition !

Hi Paul

I think you might have a piont! Can I download the professional edition as
a trial? I can only see the standard edition on the MS website.

I've found your website and will be ording some books - my employer has
kindly agreed to pay - hooray.

Many thanks (again)
Hardip
