New record at top of form

Is it possible to have the new record displayed at the
top of a continuous form or datasheet instead of at the
bottom.

Thanks for any suggestions

Sorry, no.

There are work-arounds (e.g. using 2 Subforms with the top Subform for data
entry and the bottom Subform for viewing / editing but no adding) but they
simply add unnecessary complications to your Form.

Try adding a date field and sort it descending

.... and the new Record is still at the bottom!

Did you read the original question?

Thanks, that's rather what I thought when I was asked to
do it. I was only looking for a simple solution I may
have missed :)

Thanks again
