new record entry in page view

Please help I am building pages but when I go to page
view I can scroll through my records but the save records
and add new records button are not hot. How do I make
them active?

Is the form based on an updateable query. To find out open
the query and see if you can add or change data.
Also check the properties of the form to see if "Allow
Edits" and "Allow additions" is set to yes.
