New Record from an Existing one

Hello
I'd appreciate if someone can direct me to how I would go about creating a
new record from an existing one. I would like to make changes accordingly to
the new record and save it.

I created a query from my 2 tables
Ist Table: JobEvent
Primary key-Job eventID Autonumber (field1)
Job Type Number (field2)
2nd Table: Job Type (field1)
Primary key- Job Type ID Auto number
I linked these 2 tables using the Job Type ID and created a Query
The form is based on the query.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
