I'm designing my first form, to be used for both data entry and browsing.
What is the proper way to get the value of an expression in an unbound
textbox into a specified form field upon creating a new record? The textbox
control source is a string expression paarsed from entries in other bound
controls that contain either defaults or user entered values. Is there a
way to have it be bound when browsing, yet set to the expression when in
data entry mode?
I'm (hobby level) familiar with relational concepts and OOP, but this is my
first Access (2007) project. Thanks for any advice, RonL
