I am trying to create a new report in an access database using Access 2002
and am getting the message that I don't have exclusive rights. This never
used to happen with the earlier versions of Access. As long as you weren't
trying to make the change to the table that someone else had open you could
do whatever you wanted and created new queries, reports, tables, etc. Now
you can't and this is very irritating. Is there a way to get around this
other than having everyone close the database? I also don't want to make a
copy since that's just a lot of extra work having to get the new objects into
the correct database. Thanks for any help you can give me.
