Quickly (why quick later), I have Win 2000 Pro on a laptop. Haven't had any new updates since February, and today (or yesterday) 5 new updates showed up in Windows Update Web page. I checked them out, and decided to do one at a time
1, KB835732 - Security Update for Windows 2000 Critica
(this appears to have installed a third, almost half if the % in bar is accurate. System doesn't show any activity any more. However, I can reach out to here at least, i.e. nothing appears broken.
Is it "safe" to just kill the update, reboot and hope
Should I have done all five together?
Other four are
2. KB828741 - Security Update for Windows 2000 Critica
3. KB837001 - ditt
4. KB831167 Critical Update for IE 6 Service Pack
5. KB837009 Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 Service Pack
